Head of Planning
Dan is a Chartered Town Planner who manages our planning team.
He has extensive experience on a wide range of projects, from large residential housing estates through to office conversions, listed buildings and rural developments.
Dan enjoys devising creative solutions that deliver the best value for our clients while also fitting in sympathetically with the local surroundings. He has achieved successful planning outcomes for clients across the south, as well as providing compelling evidence for planning appeals. With excellent links across the built environment sector, Dan can quickly pull together the right team to solve the most challenging planning issues.
Neil’s role is to assess the financial, practical and planning viability of potential projects for our clients. He analyses potential opportunities and constraints, researches planning policy and previous planning applications, and looks at property price trends to give clients an honest and realistic view of a site’s potential.
Neil’s detailed analysis ensures that our clients have the most comprehensive information to make an informed decision on each individual project.
Rebecca is a Chartered Town Planner who skilfully uses her planning knowledge and expertise on some of our more complex projects. Her recent successes include securing planning permission for a scheme previously dismissed at appeal in Dorset and changing the use of and extending a listed building on Eton’s High Street. Rebecca’s special interests include listed buildings and heritage projects.
Rebecca has a Master of Science Degree in Planning from the University of Plymouth. While at university, Rebecca’s exceptional talents were recognised by the Royal Town Planning Institute with two student awards. She was also awarded the Paul Barnard Award for ‘Best Full-time Dissertation’.
Ben works on a wide range of planning projects, conducting appraisals, preparing planning statements and managing applications. His recent successes have included gaining planning permission on a contentious development in Basingstoke, which had been refused twice previously, and a complex change of use application for a nail salon in Salisbury.
Ben has a Master’s Degree in Town and Country Planning from the University of the West of England. We’re very proud that Ben was awarded the Royal Town Planning Institute’s Prize for 'Best Contribution to the Planning Profession based on the Agency Project' in 2016.
Abbey joined us on completion of her Master’s Degree in Spatial Planning and Development at Cardiff University in 2017.
Abbey’s role is to assist our senior planners with background research and preparing supporting documents for our planning applications. She loves problem solving and helping clients to find creative and cost-effective solutions to planning issues. Abbey has just started her journey to become a chartered planner with the Royal Town Planning Institute.
Senior 3D Designer
Luke oversees our 3D design team. His expert design skills and 3D models show how our proposals work visually and impact upon their surroundings. This allows us to identify any issues and constraints at a very early stage of the process – saving our clients both time and money. These high-quality visualisations often play a critical role in discussions with local councils.
Luke is also our in-house IT technician, keeping our technology running at peak efficiency.
With an eye for detail, Adam creates high-quality 3D drawings that bring our proposals to life. Adam’s recent projects include an impressive photo montage for a residential development in Salisbury and 3D visualisations of new homes in Dorset and Wiltshire.
Before joining Charter House Planning, Adam enjoyed a varied career in industry – although his interest in design has been a running theme throughout his life.
Having originally trained in multimedia, Sacha worked in a variety of industries before taking up his current role with Charter House Planning.
With a flair for both design and graphics, Sacha puts his expertise and knowledge to great use to create 3D models for our planning applications. Recent projects have included designs for a bespoke cottage in a village in Hampshire, and proposals for 24 new homes on the outskirts of Salisbury – which have contributed to successful planning outcomes.
