Peppard Common, Henley

4 x New Homes in South Oxfordshire Village

Charter House Planning achieved planning permission for these four large 4 and 5 bedroom homes in Peppard Common, Henley. There were previously two detached dwellings on the site that had grown tired and were in need of replacement. Our client approached us to formulate a planning strategy to best maximise the site’s value.

Following a detailed appraisal of the site, our team highlighted various constraints such as protected trees, ecology and highway access points and compiled a detailed pre-application enquiry for 4 new homes on the site. We received a positive response from Officers at South Oxfordshire District Council and began to assemble a full planning application. In order to ensure the application was as robust as possible, CHP quickly pulled together a team of professional consultants (ecologists, heritage specialists and arboriculturalists) to prepare detailed reports to inform and support the proposals.

The full application was later submitted and approved under delegated powers within the standard 8 week period. Following discharge of the pre-commencment planning conditions, all 4 new homes are now under construction.
